Citizenship-eligible property in Turkey has to clear a government valuation at or above the $400,000 investment threshold and carry a three-year no-resale commitment recorded on the title deed. The valuation is the part that most often surprises buyers, because it is an official assessment rather than the agreed price, and a property marketed above the threshold does not automatically value above it.
